The survey of over 1,000 people by dating app Badoo found 69 per cent of single Britons are 'turned off' by poorly written messages in the early stages of courtship.
Nearly half of online daters (49 per cent) have been sent messages with little to no punctuation - and such schoolboy errors are ruining chances of intimacy, with 42 per cent admitting they are put off by a lousy message while 'sexting' a partner.
